This week, Lexi and Libby spoke with current DEI chair of Theta Tau nationals, Raven Smith. Raven is a 2015 ChemE grad from VCU (KG Chapter) who is now on Theta Tau's Executive Council. Raven is a young women in engineering pioneering efforts as Theta Tau's first and current chair of the national Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Your engineer BFF's had a great discussion with Raven about her professional career in validation, her undergraduate experience in Theta Tau, and how we can all support diversity in STEM fields.
