Summary

In Mosiah chapter 22, King Limhi and his people consult on how to escape bondage from the Lamanites. They realize that fighting is not an option due to the Lamanites' numerical advantage. Gideon proposes a plan to escape by night while the Lamanite guards are drunk. The people gather their flocks and herds and depart into the wilderness. They navigate through the wilderness and eventually join Mosiah's people in the land of Zarahemla. Mosiah receives them with joy and they bring their records and precious things with them. The Lamanites attempt to pursue them but get lost in the wilderness.
