Fall traditions are harmless. Glorifying death isn’t.

Using the Broadway musical Death Becomes Her as a striking example, Abigail examines how death has been literally bedazzled into a spectacle, reflecting a worldview that cheapens both life and eternity.

Abigail contrasts that with the Biblical truth that death is not neutral—it’s the enemy Christ has already defeated. As believers, we’re called to be discerning: to enjoy the goodness of fall while rejecting the cultural fascination with death and darkness that stands in opposition to the life Jesus offers.
