Reports indicate that the federal government is toying with the notion of introducing laws to curb misinformation. Lies about Covid-19 can have tremendous consequences and that is understandable. We discuss whether citizens are the greatest source of misinformation or are other groups more responsible. Then, we lay out the issues with giving the government this type of interpretative power.
