The presidency of Donald Trump has similarities to these 17th century monarchs who did not complete their their reigns as expected. What might we learn from such comparisons?

While James II did have a Catholic wife when he abdicated, his first wife Anne had passed away in 1671. His son's mother was James' second wife, Mary of Modena.

Today I learned that the Liberator, which stopped publication in 1865 with the abolition of slavery, was succeeded by The Nation, which is still published today.
