I talk about:

• A hard conversation I had with Jessie about a really difficult situation in our relationship - that is the root of a lot of on-going frustrations/pain.
• Mentioning to a client that “we heal in an environment of compassion” and having it catch me off guard & really hitting me in the feels.
• How compassion is the simplest solution - to literally all of our problems!
• The almost poetic despair of the connection between “compassion” and “human suffering.”
• Why compassion is so difficult for us as humans. (Hint: The prerequisite is vulnerability which is really fucking scary.)
• How we always have the ability to change the world, but realizing that it starts with us in each and every moment and every interaction we have with another human.
