6. Clean Criminal Record: A clean criminal record, particularly with no convictions related to human trafficking, illegal immigration, or exploitation​ 

Document Preparation: Gather all necessary documents, including the completed application form, proof of income, proof of accommodation, health insurance, evidence of work experience, a clean criminal record certificate, a valid passport, and a recent passport-size photograph.

Appointment Booking: Schedule an in-person appointment at the nearest Italian consulate or embassy in your country of residence​ (Citizen Remote)​
Attend Appointment: Attend your appointment with all required documents. Be punctual and ensure all your documents are in order​ (Citizen Remote)​
Wait for Approval: After submission, wait for the visa approval, which may take 30 to 90 days​ (Citizen Remote)​.
