In 2013 a young woman went missing; her last known movements were captured by surveillance in a hotel elevator. Thousands of people have tried to decipher what her strange actions--hiding, talking to someone or something that isn't there, waving her hands and arms--meant, and how it was related to the grizzly discovery of her body weeks later. On this episode, Hannah takes Katy through the last days of Elisa Lam, and they both try to solve this 7 year-old mystery shrouded in a disturbingly dark history. Was it murder? Suicide? Or something far more sinister?
