In this episode, I discussed fundamental analysis and why it's important when investing. When using fundamental analysis, it allows an investor to look at the outlook of an industry, the management of the company, the product lines of the company, anticipated introduction of new products, and the market share of the company. 

It also gives an investor the ability to look at the financial statements of a company and see how they have done financially throughout the years. Doing the research before you put your money into a company or fund is the #1 principle when investing.
