In 2004 Professor Douglas Shaw was found shot dead in his home.  Douglas' son was the one who found the body.  Doug's wife was out of town.  There has been no arrest in the unsolved homicide investigation of Douglas Shaw from Kent, Ohio.

2019 Troy Lamont Stevens was shot down in the city of Akron, Ohio.  Troy's body was found on the sidewalk in front of a house.  No arrests have been made.
