In the summer of 2004, an inmate in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping escaped from the Brown Creek Correctional Institution in Anson County. Authorities searched the surrounding area and Charlotte, but there was no sign of "The Roofman" for months, until a masked robber attempted to rob employees at a Toys R Us on Independence Boulevard in Charlotte. There, police discovered Jeffrey Manchester had been living undetected among the community for more than six months. Mia Roberson joins Renee for this episode and they also discuss the film adaptation of Manchester's story starring Channing Tatum.
