On todays episode I welcome into the studio, Darryl Holland. Darryl is the owner of the Cactus Theater in Lubbock, TX. The Cactus Theater is the last standing theater from the Lubbock of years past. Darryl purchased the theater about 4 years ago. He is bringing some really unique shows & acts to Lubbock! He has a dream! He has a vision! So I invite Darryl in, to share with me his desires and his dreams behind purchasing the theater. We discuss growing up in Lubbock, why he purchased the theater, and the new direction of the theater. We also chat a bit on some of Darryl's side projects, including a local 50's style ice cream shop. I worked at the Cactus Theater periodically throughout my youth. So it was a nostalgic conversation for me! It was nice to chat with Darryl and to hear what the new direction will be for the theater!
