Natardia shares her Dragonfly Method, an arts-based research method that combines research with performance to engage the voices of the community members being researched. This responsible and culturally competent approach has been used to support Black women in exploring archetypes and stereotypes often imposed on us by the outside world. As a researcher and Drama Therapist, Natardia stresses the importance of serving as a guest when the researcher does not reflect the lived experience of the communities she is researching.
