Two Can Keep A Secret

Ep. 18: FBI Most Wanted - Ladies Edition

Listen Later

Happy Women's History Month! For this week we want to tell you about 2 women who were really breaking the glass ceilings! Listen along as we tell you about the first 2 women ever to be listed on the FBI Most Wanted List!

Pam: In 1968 20 year old Barbara Mackle was kidnapped from her hotel room in Georgia. She was held captive, buried alive, for 83 hours. Her captors, Gary Krist and Ruth Eisemann-Schier lead authorities on a manhunt landing Ruth a spot as the first woman ever on the FBI Most Wanted list.

Ronda: 'Mean' Marie Arrington was a force to be reckoned with. She didn't take crap from anyone and she was a fierce mother. Unfortunately, life had not been kind to her and she was determined to provide for her children through any means necessary... even if they were illegal. From murder to fraud, Marie did it all. Say what you want about her, but she earned her spot as the second woman to ever be placed on the FBI Most Wanted List!
