It funds programs on which we have been calling for weeks:
- Community health centers funded for 2 years
- CHIP funded for 4 additional years
- Disaster relief funded $90 billion
- funding for the 2020 census

And now we need to call about DREAMers. Success in the Senate is far from guaranteed. McConnell has promised open amendments, but racists elements in the Senate are using DREAMers as bargaining chips to add harsh anti-immigration language, that would drastically change current immigration policy, to the final bill. IG policy director Angel Padilla lays out where we are on DREAMers “We want relief for #Dreamers but it is better to walk away than pay the ransom that Republicans are demanding.” http://bit.ly/2EEN4vS
