Massasoit was a tremendous friend and benefactor to the Plymouth Colony. He was a stabilizing force throughout the Bay Region for them. He also was a beneficiary of Colonial activity. As more English arrived tensions grew. In this episode we'll look at the short lived colony of Wessaguasset. The problems they created and how they impacted the Pilgrims at Plymouth.
