Helen's Mother developed Parkinson's Disease which progressed over number of years including Parkinson's Dementia ending with 2 years in nursing home before passing at 83. Helen remembers her as a strong feminist with a dry and subtle wit. Helen discusses the lessons she learnt from her Mother as well as the passing of her Father at a young age and the effect of a lack of relationship with him had on her life.
