We’re only a couple of weeks out from Father’s Day and hosts Nicho Hynes and Marlee Silva thought there wouldn’t be a more fitting time to sit down with Rocket Rod Silva - Marlee’s Dad.

 

Rocket played 14 years in the NRL for the Roosters and Bulldogs. In this chat he shares about the journey to get there from housing commission in Western Sydney, overcoming racism and the roller coaster of being a professional athlete, particularly after losing his sister and father in a 12 week period at the height of his career.
