There are so many different ways to communicate. Speak, write, actions, body language, the list goes on. Then, how come we as humans haven’t mastered this skill when literally every facet of our being is a type of communication? It could be because we may not understand when and how we are communicating. Like showing up to an interview dressed appropriately or being on time when meeting someone. When we change our perspective and understand when we are communicating, we can change the way we show up in the world and use it to our advantage. This is how we build our character. Learning about ourselves on a deeper level, such as how we communicate nonverbally, is a missing piece that we would like to uncover in this podcast.
Joining us today is Patrick Harney, actor and podcast producer of the show “The Good Life”, and he is here to talk about all things communication. How we communicate, how much we communicate, and when to communicate. He goes over what it's like to communicate in a world where most of the workforce is now spread across countries, and when it's appropriate to communicate in our highly digitized world.
Tune in for an insightful conversation about where we are as a society when it comes to communication and how we can become better communicators.
