It's easy, and maybe even the most common path people take, to assume everyone with their own business is racking up the dough, has a line of people dying to pay them, and sleep soundly at night because they choose to follow their passion in life.
Errrr...(record scratch)
Yes, that certainly can happen but if you are a small business owner or have tried to go down your own path - you know the reality of it. Which we hear about in this episode.
But, spoiler alert - It is hard!
Jamie shares her real, raw, and vulnerable story of opening her dream studio and reaching a point (which was anything by easy) and deciding to call it quits.
A story we rarely hear, because honestly who wants to talk about this, but it is important that we do.
Jamie shares the reasons behind closing the doors to her studio, the toll it was taking on her mental health, rebounding with a VERY full summer (and some very long runs), and what she plans to do next.
