Canada’s response to COVID-19 has been relatively good. Perhaps not good enough though. Experts warn of a mounting backlog of “non-essential” medical procedures and operations. A growing number of people are developing advanced cancer. Opioid related deaths are surging. Mental health has plummeted. Today we take inventory of the lesser spoken about collateral damage and how we can improve our plan going forward. This involves government (Trudeau + Premiers) and ourselves as we all have a role to play.
