Douglas Ward is a retired military veteran with 24 years of distinguished service. Doug held numerous leadership roles including being Troop Chief for a hand selected group of special communicators who supported and deployed with Special Operations Forces. At first Doug’s transition to the civilian workforce seemed to be working smoothly, but then the workplace environment turned toxic, ultimately resulting in Doug’s decision to become an entrepreneur.

  • Spoke the reaction he got from friends and family when he announced his plans to be his own boss
  • Shares leadership lessons he learned while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, including dealing with Special Forces colleagues with strong egos
