Andy Clarno is an associate professor of Sociology and African American Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, who has developed a research collective model in collaborations with local radical organizers. He has recently been heavily involved in the Erase The Gang Database campaign (http://erasethedatabase.com), and is the author of Neoliberal Apartheid, a book focusing on the overlaps of oppression and resistance in South Africa and Palestine.
