David T'Kint is a former Partner at the global design firm Hirsch Bedner and Associates (HBA). Driven by the passion for Lifestyle Hospitality, David launched a design studio under his name in 2021. He joins Wood Couture Co-founder and podcast host Filippo Sona at the LASVIT booth at the Downtown Design exhibition in Dubai.
David is a great believer in curating experience and approaches each project as a unique venture to tell a story through design. This is common ground he found with LASVIT while working on projects such as the Raffles - Jakarta, Kempinski - Beirut and Ritz Carlton - London. David sees the future in wellness and sustainability to such a degree that he integrates these principles into his studio’s contracts. He declares that these “trends” are turning into necessities in the coming years and that embracing value-engineering helps achieve the intended design narratives and client goals.
This interview is part of The Wood Couture Podcast, Dubai Design Week Special with LASVIT where Filippo Sona speaks with industry experts visiting Downtown Design, to bring amazing insights on the latest topics affecting the design and hospitality.
