In this episode, Dr. Jerry Yoo invites the Co-Owner of The Link Studios, Michele Bruce to discuss her journey into the world of Pilates.
Like many of her clients, Michele started her career in the corporate world. As a Product Manager in the Pharmaceutical industry, she worked long stressful hours. Seeking out a more beneficial way to maintain her strength and improve her health, she discovered Pilates. She started practicing in 2000 and experienced the immediate results of the Pilates method.
In 2007, she traded in her suits for spandex and studied the Classical Pilates Method at Romana’s Pilates™ in New York City. After receiving her certification in 2008, she started working as a freelance instructor at various studios in New York City and New Jersey. She has been managing at The Link Studios since 2011.
Through her now-experienced career teaching Pilates, she has evolved as an instructor. Her goal with each client is to help them change their body!
