The time was 1935. The place, Kansas City. A unassuming young man checks into the President Hotel, for what was supposed to be a one night stay. Over the next couple of days, odd occurrences would unfold from multiple voices being heard from his room to Roland himself, being brutally beaten. But as time goes on, the layers to this onion only deepen with cryptic phone calls and delivered messages to someone from Roland's past coming forward to turn this case on its ear, making it one of Kansas City's oldest unsolved mysteries.
