Sootface is an Ojibwe story.  This version was based off the many variations of the tale told by the various tribes within the Ojibwe nation. 

The Ojibwe, Ojibwa, Chippewa, or Saulteaux are an Anishinaabe people in what is currently southern Canada and the northern Midwestern United States. 

This month we are starting our 'Cinderella Stories from Around the World' series.  For the month of February join me as we travel to four different cultures and listen to their variations of the well know story.
