On August 23, 2000, one of the most horrific stories I've personally heard, took place in Merced, CA. Vanessa Carpenter/Perales tells the story of how her and her sisters fought for their lives as a possessed man invades their home with a pitchfork and evil intentions. This story is very graphic and heavy but in the end, the miracles, healing, and hope that comes from this tragic event is overwhelming and powerful.
