Fine art photographer, author, and all-around amazing human Alea Lovely is here today. She has been a professional photographer for about fifteen years and her work has taken her all over the world. She feels really lucky that she has been able to see the world from different perspectives, which has grown her lust for seeing how other people live.
When Alea hears the word reinvention, she thinks about risk. She gets excited about the idea of reinvention and believes that it draws out a part of you which makes you question your old ideas. Alea talks about how reinvention can be scary with some examples from her own life. We also hear about the loneliness that can come from the process.
Alea shares a story that displays what she considers the magic of life to be. She believes that things work for her, and therefore, they do. This mindset is something she has adopted, and she references a famous quote that relates to how she lives her life.
People who are confident in themselves feel the need to bring others up. You can see when people need it, but you can also do this to people who have inspired you in some way. Alea expresses that this a beautiful thing and something we can all do more of before sharing a recent story about giving a compliment.
Ending this episode, Alea talks about what she sees herself doing in the future in addition to photography.
