Stephan interviews Robin on how trustworthy AI is and if consumers and businesses alike can trust it. Robin discusses the complementary nature of AI and humans. He gives his perspective on a human-in-the-loop tactic and when it is appropriate to use that tactic. We also find out Robin and Stephan’s shared fascination of old computers.
ABOUT ROBIN
Robin is the CTO at MindBridge, where he leads the development of a next-generation AI Auditor that helps professionals detect and prevent financial anomalies, including fraud. Robin is now also the CISO for MindBridge.
Robin joined MindBridge in July 2016 after a distinguished career at IBM, where he was the Chief Architect of IBM Watson Analytics. Robin led the original product concept from inception to delivery. After rapid adoption, the product won the InfoWorld Technology of the Year award in 2016. Earlier in his career, Robin founded and served as Chief Technology Officer of Digital Aspects, which was later acquired by Cognos. Robin holds a B.Sc. in physics and computer science from Newcastle University.
