Ever feel like your zeal is misunderstood as self-righteousness? The Pharisees looked at Christ in John 2 and saw a man who was filled with zeal and they thought it was self-righteousness. Jesus' zeal for his Father sturred up their lives and created deep anger. 

It's the same for us in our lives. Zeal for the Lord may turn people away but it will keep the ones who have zeal near to us.
