Matthew Noedel worked as a forensic scientist for the Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory in Tacoma, WA for 15 years prior to starting his forensic consultation and training business Noedel Scientific in 2005. He is currently a distinguished and certified member of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners and has received the award as “Member of the Year” (2009) from that organization. Mr. Noedel is also active in the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction as Past-President and Past-Treasurer of that organization and is certified in Crime Scene Reconstruction by the IAI.  

 Noedel Scientific has consulted in scene reconstruction and analysis throughout the United States as well as internationally in Canada and Australia. Much of the work conducted by Noedel Scientific is in the area of ballistics and shooting incident reconstruction.
