EP. 2: shenanigans in Ireland

Listen Later

Hey Everyone! Today we're talking about your study abroad experience in Ireland the summer of 2019. A bit of a disclaimer... in this episode we highlight some of our fun stories on the trip, although we cannot turn a blind eye to the real meat of the trip. We studied The Troubles through the lens of conflict reconciliation and storytelling. We feel that it is not our place to discuss the stories we hear and the history of The Troubles because we do not want to butcher an extremely sensitive topic that still echoes through Ireland and Northern Ireland on a day to day basis. If you would like us to hold a separate episode discussing what we learned we would love to dive into the topic further.  This topic is extremely important and fragile, and we hold it close to our hearts. I hope more people will become educated about this topic, and we encourage you to do some people research.  Attached are all the resources we used to prepare for our trip of you would like to learn more about a very important time in history...
