The Biltmore Estate is a well known tourist attraction outside of Asheville, NC. It is a grand estate (around 180,000 square feet) built in 1889 as a vacation home for George Vanderbilt II. Over the years, it was turned into a museum and today, it is visited by 1.2 million guests each year. There were two deaths and three births within the main house itself, and even more deaths in the greater area.
