The most important factor in traditional, outbound marketing is persuasion. That's what you're after, as a marketer, as a business. You need to persuade your audience that what your offer is right for them, whether you do that directly by talking about its attributes, or indirectly by conveying a feeling, a mood, an identity.

With inbound it's totally different. Your goal is not to persuade someone to buy from you, but to get them to learn from you.  For this reason, trust is absolutely critical to inbound marketing — and that's what we're going to cover in today's episode of solving inbound.
