As a fellow book nerd, the phrase “readers are leaders” has always given me some sort of comfort as I add the 50th book to my amazon cart.

Ask any entrepreneur about what books to read and they could easily give you a list of 10 right off the top of my head. 

But ask them how much information they have actually implemented in their business from those books…. And the answer isn’t so enthusiastic.

When Carlos and I dug into this deeper, he revealed something kind of shocking.

Our desire to obtain a ton of information is usually because we don’t actually feel like we are capable of leading. We think we don’t know enough yet. We need more.

So we stick behind the “readers are leaders” phrase trying to prove to ourselves that the more we read the more capable we would be of leading in our business. 😳

We think we are using books as a progression but we are really using it for procrastination.
