Following the Vybz Kartel vs Wizkid clash which broke the internet via @theresnosignall radio, we discuss long standing tensions between people who identify as "African" and people who identify as "Caribbean" in Britain. Admittedly, the conversation centres Nigeria and Jamaica, based on the clash as well as our individual experiences and heritage. We acknowledge that progress has been made to bridge the existing divide however there is still a long way to go to completely eliminate ignorance about the 'other' in both communities.
