My guest today is writer Albert Lanier. He’s a retired freelance journalist, former film reviewer, a podcast host of two shows, Outside the NFL and The Final Cut. As a journalist , film reviewer and critic, he’s covered film festivals for his local paper for 15 years and later for the film website Ain’t It Cool News. He’s currently rolling out a screenwriting method which he calls the Dual Story Structure is intended to be taught as a seminar and workshop. An example of this can be found in The Final Cut newsletter. Today we’ll talk about his career as a journalist and film critic, his Dual Story Structure, some of the films he’s reviewed, and maybe talk some sports along the way.
