Hi all. As promised here is my 2nd in the series for managing this volatile time. This is a quick episode with my tips for managing your money during volatility. A bit of background, yes I was an attorney for several years and studied finance, but I received the biggest chunk of personal financial education during the years that I worked as a licensed financial advisor for middle class families. Some of these tips may seem obvious and some are aimed at keeping you calm. But most importantly I’d like us to try and shift away from a fear-based mentality when thinking & talking about money during this time and take advantage of this downtime to utilize some best practices that you should keep, or put in place for the long haul. No one’s situation is the same so I tried to paint in broad brushstrokes and if you have the resources and ability to connect with a financial professional please do so, it’s important to think about your financial and your physical health at this time. If not, these tips are a good start and here are some additional trusted resources as we navigate through this turbulent time. We’ll resume our regular schedule of guests the week of March 30th and until then, keep being the bold, brave badasses you are!
