in the twentieth episode of shit talking and the fourth palate cleanser, "gen X euphoria," pedro and marcy meander through topics and meaning with the same sense of aimlessness innate to all characters of Gregg Araki's Teenage Apocalypse Trilogy--they not only need a whole hour of ranting about Adam McKay and the cinematization of TV, but when they do finally get to "Totally F**ed Up," "The Doom Generation" and "Nowhere" they hardly stay on track--but that's okay, because if Gregg Araki taught them anything, is that to experience youth is to experience bewildered and fatalistic-feeling sense of loss
