- Be willing AND obedient
- Once you hear from God or feel that direction from Him, mix your faith with it and take action on it.
- Remember: Faith ACTS!
- James 2:18, 26 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
- Isaiah 1:19 The willing and the obedient will eat the good of the land.
- Phil 2:13
- ESV: for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
- NLT: For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
- NIV: for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
- Take it up a level: Do it will ALL your might–don’t just barely obey! Give it your best–give GOD your best
- Do not fear!
- Sometimes we aren’t willing and/or obedient because we are afraid.
- But the Bible tells us over and over again, DO NOT FEAR
- Perfect love casts out fear.
- John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
- Hebrews 10:38-39 NIV And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.
- When we understand the heart of our Heavenly Father and we see Him as GOOD – only good! We know that His plans for us are good and if He has good plans for us (Jer 29:11) then we have no need to fear!
- Take it up a level: Overcome a fear that has plagued your life.
- Trust God and Rejoice!
- Hear, be willing and obedient, don’t fear, and trust God with the outcome!
- Rejoice! Give thanks! Revel in the privilege of doing life with the Creator of the universe!
- Take it up a level: Make this more than a seasonal thing—make it your daily lifestyle! Pray, hear, obey, rejoice! REPEAT! In the big things and the small things!
