This episode is about Marie Mosley sharing her experience of surviving a toxic and abusive relationship for 25 years and moving beyond that relationship. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother and is eager to help other women going through similar struggles. Marie talks about setting boundaries, inviting God into your life, forgiveness, among other things. She also mentions the first step in your healing journey should be an inventory of your own life. Many times we don’t give ourselves credit for what we have already accomplished in life. Seeing what you have already done, can help motivate and propel you to make the needed changes to progress in your life.
Marie is a school counselor and has the added perspective of seeing what toxic relationships do to kids and what leaving your children behind, so-to-speak, as you pursue a new relationship looks like from a child’s perspective. Marie is adamant that you can find love and happiness and bring your children along on the healing journey.
