Some of the most important conversations you can have are the ones you have with yourself. In those moments where there is no one and you are  yourself it is important to make sure that you are present in the moment and that you talk positive to yourself. It is really important to not break yourself down on be mean to your self. My personal example was I use to say I am the fat guy and that I started believing myself that I just never tried to change it. Now if I catch myself talking negatively like that I stop myself say that's not who I am and that I then make a new statement of who I am and who I want to be.
