Stacey was in her early 20’s going about her life. Her story is a prime example of how quickly our lives can be turned around. Generally, when you hear the word, wheelchair, we associate it to injury. Sporting or vehicle accidents, combat or even a good night out turned wrong due to alcohol and a little extra courage. In Stacey’s case, it was her body that made that decision. We talk about her journey of 13 years adapting to life in a wheelchair and how she dealt and still deals with her condition.
