Strip away family ties, backgrounds, and we find two service members who have had all too familiar to anyone who has served. When do we stop considering a servicemember a veteran and deserving of help and care. Can an individual or family skew the perception of military service? Or does society choose who is a struggling servicemember and who has become too far lost?
