Is it a failure or an opportunity to learn? What is something you look back on in marriage and think "I could have done that differently..."? We tell a few personal stories, and then we start our discussion starting in Ephesians 5:21 "And further,  submit to one another out of reverence for Christ."

Christ's example to us can be found in John 13:1-17 when he washed the disciples feet. The God of the universe, washed the absolutely disgusting feet of the disciples in a perfect demonstration of humility and service. He calls us to submit and serve in the same way. It is with this as an example that we discuss Paul's call to wives in Ephesians 5:22 "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord."

Finally, we finish by discussing our mother's example of what "A wife of noble character" looks like. She was a good example of the Proverbs 31:10-31 woman. A woman who gets things done in partnership with her husband.
