If you are considering transitioning from your current career or job and need some tips and tools then tune in to hear Tracy's story.

Many of you know that I worked in tv, in many ways it was a dream career for a long time until it wasn’t anymore. When I felt the impetus to make a career change, it was scary and required a lot of leaning into bravery energy – especially when you career change at a later age – you are starting all over in some ways yet there is a lot of wisdom from your past experience that is very valuable. On this podcast I feel called to share inspiring stories of people who have also felt the calling of making a life change in career after having an established career in another area. I want to share how dreams can come true, dreams can shift and experience can be parlayed and that wisdom from life lived, even in a previous career can be valuable. That wherever you are in life, there are options and you can have a change of heart – even if you are quote “living your dream” - changes in directions can happen at any age – new dreams can come in. The question is: can you allow yourself to let go of the old dream to bring in the new one? Check out this episode where l talk about all that and so much more with special guest – Tracy Weatherby.

Tracy is a Mental Health Counselor certified in Crisis intervention, Domestic Violence and Anger Management in New York City. Remarkably, it was her career in television that eventually directed her to a new calling as a mental health professional.  For more than a decade, much of the content Tracy produced focused on the real-life challenges of everyday people including addiction, mental illness, severe trauma and social injustice.  She helped create a safe environment and foster empathetic connections with individuals, allowing them to share their authentic stories.

In 2019, Tracy decided to take a more active role in the healing process and in 2020, moved from Los Angeles to New York City. Tracy began her graduate program at Northwestern University and completed her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022.  Her current practice is highly trauma-focused and serves an extremely diverse population, including many people from the entertainment industry. Tracy’s knowledge of the particular challenges faced by many people in the arts including her own experiences, gives her a unique insight into wellness and healing strategies.
