Summary

In this episode, Jeffery Downs discusses Alma chapter 31. After the end of Korahor, Alma receives tidings that the Zoramites are perverting the ways of the Lord. He takes a group of people, including his sons and the repentant Zeezrom, to preach the word of God to the Zoramites. When they arrive, they find that the Zoramites have built synagogues and worship in a unique manner. They stand on a high stand and offer a repetitive prayer. The Zoramites believe they are chosen and elect, while rejecting the traditions of their brethren. Alma and his brethren are astonished by their worship and their self-righteousness.
