We are coming to the close of the "Mothering While Black" mini-series and I wanted to make sure we covered a variety of stories and perspectives, including women who choose to not be mothers. 

This week we are speaking to Jessica Brooks, MBA who shares how her childhood trauma, family pathology of sexual violence, and a multitude of reproductive health concerns influenced her decision to not be a mother. Jessica shares vulnerable insights into her life as a Black woman who decided that becoming a COO of a major fortune 500 corporation would be her dream, instead of the traditional script of motherhood and marriage.
