Welcome to another episode!

Specifically: Welcome to our first "Sip N Spin In The Morning" because we had to record this episode very early because of other scheduling plans.  If the vibes seem a little off this week, that very well could be why. Neither Brittany nor Skylar are morning people. We were champs though, we had our iced dirty chai's, friendship bread, and a bottle of vodka. All the makings for our "Yt Girl Sunday" and the perfect formula to discuss some history with you. Skylar got to choose the drink this week so we are sipping on a couple of blackberry-basil moscow-mules. 

Brittany gets a little nostalgic this week and talks about a very tiny portion of the history of Pokemon. Specifically, she touches a little bit on how Pokemon came to be a thing, the first few rounds of merch/games/general content that came with the early success of the franchise, as well as some light childhood trauma. 

Skylar, it could be argued, gets even more nostalgic and takes us way back to discuss a mystery from French history. She talks about the story of The Man in the Iron Mask. They were an unidentified prisoner who was arrested in 1669 or 1670 and held in a number of French prisons, including the Bastille. This case still remains a mystery, and we never will know for sure, but it's still fun to discuss and talk about the different theories.
